3D CAD Files -- Tweeter Ball No.3181 for Original ESS Heil AMT
Couldn't load pickup availability

By purchasing these plans you will automatically receive the 3D CAD files which allows you to 3D print the tweeter ball. This is for personal use only (no commercial reproduction or commercialization).
Description
The tweeter ball No.3181 is designed to enclose the AMT tweeter and provide a smooth horn flare transition. This improves frequency response smoothness and increases the tweeter's sensitivity. Distortion is also reduced significantly allowing for higher output SPL.
Full details on the test data can be found here.
The front and rear components act like a clam shell. The only difference between the front and rear components are the screw holes which secure the two halves together. The screw holes are located on the rear half (see photo).
A M12 hex bolt can be used to secure the tweeter ball to the bass cabinet below (see photo).
Foam gasket tape should be used to seal the horn throat area. (see photo)
