Open Baffle Speaker No.1695 is the ultimate open baffle speaker, providing deep bass down to 20Hz in an elegant and refined design solution. The 10" ScanSpeak mid-bass also supports bass duty but also play smoothly into the midrange where the high frequency horn takes over at 1.2kHz. The perfect physical time alignment between drivers provides perfect coherency through the crossover region. Off-axis behavior is textbook perfect thanks to the ES horn flare curvature and low diffraction baffle. Ultimate soundstage is achieved by dipole radiation including the 1.4" high frequency compression driver which also radiates dipole for an amazing sense of spaciousness. We've achieved incredibly low distortion by utilizing copper shorting rings on all drivers. 

This speaker is made to order in your choice of wood finish or custom automotive paint (extra fee). We also include the optional hand signed rear decal along with your name 'Custom Made For ____". (see photos)

Available in Bolivian Rosewood which is twice the weight of walnut!
