Positive Feedback on 2800 Speakers

I would like to share some positive feedback from my customer Rodney who recently purchased a pair of the 2800 Speakers. For those of you that don’t know, the 2800 speakers are one of our top-tier models that includes dual 10 inch woofers in a three-way configuration. The enclosure is a full 40 mm thick walnut with the front baffle being up to 10 cm.

From discussions I’ve had with the customer, he jumps between DACs depending on what particular sound character he is looking for. 

We’ve had lengthy discussions about our favourite 300B tubes!

Below is his brief reflection on his overall satisfaction owning the 2800 Speakers. 

“I received the Joseph Crowe 2800’s in the beginning of December. The speakers arrived and were packed very well. Through the years I have owned  approximately 13 pairs of speakers and was never completely satisfied . A friend of mine that owns the Nighthawks from Joseph Crowe recommend I look into Joseph Crowe speakers. I reached out to Troy Crowe over emails  which then lead to a few phone calls, Troy was a pleasure to speak with and spent a great deal of time and addressed all my concerns. Once I got everything unpacked and setup I powered up my system and gave it time to warm up , I started with a couple tracks that I knew were harsh with other horn speakers I owned . Within 5 minutes I was shocked how these horns sounded no harshness 

the music just flowed with clarity the soundstage was wide , the bass deep, no sub was needed here . I am now listening 4-5x a week for longer periods of time with zero fatigue just toe tapping music . These speakers are not HiFi sound  they are romantic and relaxing and did I say no sub needed. I can honestly say this is my end speaker .“

I continue to correspond with Rodney almost daily because we share the same interests in tube gear, DACs and streamers.
